Position: Director Laboratory Accreditation (Director)
Reports to: CEO
Reporting to this position: Program staff and contract assessors
Major Areas of Responsibility: Laboratory Accreditation Program Management
The Director Laboratory Accreditation is responsible for the successful implementation of the laboratory accreditation program in conformance with NiNAS policies and procedures, ISO/IEC 17011 and relevant ILAC documents, and to meet annual business plans and budgets. The position requires the effective supervision of staff and contract assessors, effective client relations management and to work with the executive team to implement strategic goals objectives, plans and budgets. The candidate shall have a post-graduate certificate or diploma in science, engineering or business administration and shall have 10 years of organizational management in a related field with demonstrated abilities in: program management, human resource development, client relations, business planning and budgeting. An understanding of Quality Management standards and the laboratory environment is essential. Work experience with an IAF or ILAC recognized accreditation body is an asset.
