JOB OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT
Michigan State University, USA, is seeking dynamic, experienced candidates to apply for three key team positions in a new 5-year program to expand youth entrepreneurship and employment in Nigeria. Ag Youth Lab will focus on major food shed areas in Oyo, Ogun and Osun States. The primary objective is to assist more than 10,000 unemployed, out-of-school, disadvantaged youth ages 18 to 24 to access higher-wage jobs or start their own businesses in high-potential horticulture, aquaculture, poultry, cassava or oilseeds sectors. The program will aim for equal representation of young men and women across its programs.

Position: Private Sector and Financial Institution Liaison, Nigeria Ag Youth Lab Program
A key function of this position will be to assist the Country Coordinator in developing the project communications and youth campaign strategy. The Private Sector and Financial Institution Liaison will play a major role in implementing these. This position will, for example, collect materials from youth entrepreneurs and private sector partners which can be used to develop articles, short case studies, interviews, and blogs. S/he will be responsible for developing communication and campaign materials directly for the Ag Youth Lab e-platform as well as interacting with the media to pitch stories and events for coverage.
