VACANCY FOR THE POST OF REGISTRAR (INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates of Bauchi State origin for the post of Registrar of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi.
Duties of the Registrar:
The Registrar is responsible to the Rector on all administrative matters in the day to day running of the Polytechnic. He is the custodian of all records and interprets its documents, rules and regulations. He is the Secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and all other statutory Committees and performs such other duties as the Council and the Rector may direct.
Qualities of the Registrar:
The candidate must be a person of impeccable character with the ability to command the respect and trust of both staff and students. He must possess drive, initiative and a clear understanding of the vision and mission of the Polytechnic. He must also be computer literate and free from any sectional, ethnic or political bias.
Candidate should possess at least a good Honours Degree from a recognized University plus NYSC Certificate with at least seventeen (17) years’ post-graduation working experience or a Master Degree with fifteen (15) years’ working experience or a Doctorate Degree with twelve (12) years’ working experience. Any candidate not from the Polytechnic system need not apply.
Terms of Appointment:
The appointment is for an initial period of four (4) years and is eligible for re-appointment for another four (4) years only. The salary is CONTEDISS 15. The Officer is also entitled to an official car, a furnished accommodation, a security guard and domestic staff.
