The BBC is looking for a creative and progressive editorial leader as part of the BBC World Service’s expansion in Africa. We are doubling the number of our language services in the region from six to twelve and investing in state of the art TV and Digital production facilities. This is one of the biggest and exciting expansions in BBC history.
We are looking for someone who can oversee all editorial activities in Nigeria and across Francophone Africa. This is a challenging but integral position for the BBC where you will be the editorial reference point for World Service Languages and programmes serving audiences in Nigeria and Francophone Africa, in particular leading our Hausa, French, Igbo, Yoruba and Pidgin Services and leading a team of journalists in the region.
