The Institutes seeks suitable Nigerian Nationals for the positions below at the Institute’s headquarters in Ibadan.

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Location: Ibadan

Contract: 3-year renewable contract

Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

Carryout regeneration and rescue of seed lots on the field and screen Review objective hierarchy and logical framework matrices (activities, processes, inputs, outputs, outcomes and impacts) of projects implemented by IITA.;

Determine information needs of project managers, partners, and collaborating institutions;

Competencies:

The ideal candidate must have:

Experience in conducting M&E training sessions, including facilitation skills.

Experience in design/implementation of surveys and special studies

The ability to design and manipulate database(s)

Proficiency in statistical software such as STATA and SPSS is desirable.

Qualification:

MSc or equivalent in Agricultural Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Development Studies with Seven (7) year’s work experience preferably with an international organization.

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Location: Ibadan

Contract: 3-year renewable contract

Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:

Work with program/project teams to develop M&E frameworks (data matrices, data collection tools and M& E plans for reviews)

Review key program/project information such as sources of data, collection methods, responsible persons, frequency, and cost of data collection.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate must have:

Experience in the use of electronic data collection systems such as ODK.

Qualification:

MSc or equivalent in Agricultural Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Development Studies with Four (4) year’s work experience preferably with an international organization.
