We are recruiting for Integrated Engineering firm and seek to engage the most qualified candidates for the following job openings;

Position:     GENERAL MANAGER, CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS REF; GCM

Role Overview

The General Manager will be primarily responsible for planning, developing, and directing all activities through defining the strategic objectives and cascading these to the business plans, and ensuring flawless execution of Projects.

(i)    Minimum of teen (15) years cognate experience, with relevant experience in Construction, Civil Engineering or Infrastructure Development Sector

(ii)  Minimum of 5Years’ experience in GM role

(iii) Membership of relevant professional certifications is required

(iv) Oversee forecasting activities and manage project scope and changes meticulously to avoid going over budget.

(v)  Possess an understanding of the costs for unplanned construction work or resource. Work closely with the Site and Project Managers to ensure work done is within the budget

(vi)  Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of projects.

General Requirements

(i)   Work experience in a multi-disciplinary environment

(ii)   Excellent report writing skill

(iii)  Critical thinking and problem solving and organisational skills

(iv)  Excellent business management and developmental skills

(v) Good interpersonal and team building skills

Position:  CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS REF; CM

The Candidate

(i) Minimum of M.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Construction related field from a reputable university

(ii) 10-15 Years’ experience with at least 12 years in Construction Industry

(iii) Relevant post-graduation training and professional qualification (COREN.NSE, etc)

(iv) Proven experience in strategic management and good leadership skills

(v) Work experience in a multi-disciplinary environment

(vi) Ability to work independently, manage large scale Projects work effectively in diverse team
