Seeking candidates for anticipated urban water service delivery strengthening program.
RTI International is currently seeking technical, financial, and operations specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded water and sanitation activity in Nigeria which will aim to strengthen urban water service delivery.
Position: Chief of Party (COP)
Responsible for overall implementation and oversight of the project, and serve as the primary liaison to USAID.
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in water resources management, environmental sanitation, water supply management, business administration, international development or other relevant field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Water/sanitation utility establishment, management, privatization, and/or reform; Water/sanitation service delivery and reform, including both provision and regulation; Water sector financing, including tariff structures and reform, operation and maintenance financing, cost recovery, capital improvements and system expansion.
Position: Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP):
Will complement the strengths and responsibilities of the COP. Responsible for supporting/managing all technical, operational and management aspects of the project. Oversee project operations, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, communications, and information technology support. Provide oversight to budgets, grants, operational plans, reporting, and procedural and financial compliance.
Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, Finance or related field and with at least 10 years managing aspects of governance, public financial management, accountability, and/or water service delivery programs.
S/he must have significant contract and grants management experience; and the ability to participate in all representation and technical meetings with senior-level stakeholders.
