British Council Nigeria is recruiting for the following position
Job Title: Director Research, Nigeria
Payband: 8 (Senior Management)
Contract Type: Fixed Term (2 years renewable by mutual consent)
We are looking to hire an individual with a strong research background capable of delivering high profile research to support our country strategy and programme delivery. The person will be based in Kano and will be responsible for overseeing operations in our Kano office.
(a) If you have experience with theory-based evaluation and a range of evaluation methods with specialist knowledge (from doctorate qualification) in subjects relevant to British Council, supported by publications and references.
(b) If you have working knowledge of local (Nigeria) and international research discourse.
(c) Track record of securing funding for undertaking research projects.
We particularly welcome and encourage candidates from Northern Nigeria who use Hausa fluently.
