HEAD OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATION
(1) Marketing management proficiency
(2) Extensive experience in the development and execution of high impact marketing campaigns and product advertising
(3) In depth understanding of how to generate and translate Consumer insight into value for both the customers and the business
(4) Good experience in building and maintaining brands
(5) Excellent Communication and Presentations skills
(6) Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
(7) Good understanding of the value of digital media
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
(a) Managing the marketing and Communication function of the organization
(b) Developing strategies, formulating policies and ensuring the execution of effective marketing campaigns anchored on sound consumer insight
(c) Managing the product development processes and product lifecycle
(d) Delivering the volume, value and affinity ambitions of the business
(e) Providing quality leadership to the Marketing, Consumer Insights, Product Development and Marketing Communication team
(f) Driving customer service excellence across all outlets
(g) Managing the Marketing support agencies and sundry stakeholders
(a) 10-year plus experience in consumer marketing, and Marketing Communication Management in a FMCG, Hospitality or top rated Marketing services company
(b) Proven experiences in the delivery of Marketing strategies development and excellent execution with clear measurable outcomes
(c) Good degree in Social sciences, Marketing or Business Management
(d) Post graduate qualification will be an advantage
(e) Excellent network in the marketing and media community.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
(a) Managing Customer Experience; Consumer Insight generation and translation of insights into actionable decisions
(b) Developing strategies for Product Tests, Product Lifecycle Management and formulating policies to guide the entire product development process
(c) Oversee ongoing development and rollout of new products and services, and improvement of existing products and services, related processes & tools
(d) Conduct studies on target customers, gather insights on what they watch and buy, to determine their needs.
(e) Conduct competitor intelligence gathering and general competitor analysis.
(f) Conduct review of industry trends, locally and internationally
(g) Conduct strategic headhunt or recruitment; assemble and lead team(s) expert(s) that will actualize development of new products and improvements to existing products
(h) Determine, suggest and test most effective and efficient advertising/ marketing approach for product roll out
(i) Support branch roll out. Analyze demand across our target locations and prioritize ideal locations to situate branches
(a) Marketing insight generation proficiency
(b) In depth understanding of how to translate Consumer insight into value for both the customers and the business
(c) Extensive experience in the development of survey questionnaires
(d) Administration and analysis of surveys for actionable decisions
(e) Good experience in working with teams to build and maintain brands.
(f) Excellent Communication and Presentations skills
(g) Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
(h) Good understanding of the value of digital media
The ideal candidate should have:
(1) A good university degree
(2) Minimum of 7 years of corporate research and development experience; preferably with a leading global research agency.
(3) Familiarity with food, restaurant, nightlife and hospitality Industry will be a plus.
