Our client, a UK LED lights and hybrid systems manufacturing company, setting up a factory in Epe, Lagos State, is looking for smart, forward-looking and highly motivated people to come on board

POSITION: HEAD CORPORATE COMMUNICATION

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop clear communications strategies and programs supportive of the Company’s goals for visibility and perception
  • Articulate, execute and manage strategies on Branding, Publicity, Advertising, Media Management, Events Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Media to deliver the organizations reputation and brand positioning aspiration.
  • Determine appropriate media and channels for corporate communications

Education and Experience

  • University Degree or comparable qualification. Preferably, a first degree in Social Sciences/Humanities or equivalent and membership of a recognized public relations institute
  • A higher degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in Core
  • Communications and Brand Management Function

POSITION: HEAD TECHNICAL SERVICES

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supervises all technical employees by assigning and coordinating work assignments and resolution of critical technical and procedural issues.
  • Works cooperatively with the Management to develop strategic and tactical plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical duties
  • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Make strategic suggestions regarding modifications to documentation, product performance and failure analysis.

Skills / Competencies

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all operational levels of the organization
  • Self-Starter; organized; Problem-Solving; Detail-Oriented; Administrative
  • Strong understanding of health and safety principles and guidelines.

Education and Experience

  • BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or any related discipline
  • 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in Electrical infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
  • Certification in Street Lighting Operations and Maintenance from Lagos Energy Academy is compulsory.

POSITION: HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the human capital efforts, ensuring that the company is attracting and retaining high-quality talent while also creating opportunities for growth and professional development for all staff/personnel.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of relevant human resources structures (people, processes and systems) to support the achievement of the company’s objectives.
  • Develop and champion the implementation of an objective employee performance management process
  • Ensure the effective management of all employment contracts

Skills / Competencies

  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of HR strategy, policy development and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership skills and demonstrable experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of local labour and employment legislations.
  • Maintains integrity and professional ethics

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 7years post-qualification experience and at least 3 years in a human resources manager role
  • Relevant professional qualifications from a recognized professional body (CIPM, CIPM, GPHR etc.)
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is an added advantage
