Vacancies: Wash Technical Lead, Business Development Adviser, EU Project Accountant
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping poor and marginalised people break free from poverty and disease, and change their lives for good through improved access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. Since 1995, WaterAid has dedicatedly worked with the governments and people of Nigeria to support the implementation of sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions and programmes.

Position: Wash Technical Lead (2 years fixed term)
WaterAid is looking for an experienced WASH expert to lead thinking within WaterAid and work with sector actors around the practical ways to achieve the goals of the national WASH plan/ state of emergency declaration on the WASH sector.
A master’s degree in the Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Development, Public Health or other relevant field with at least ten (10) years’ experience -a minimum of three (3) of which must have been in a senior role with responsibility for delivering WASH services.

Position: Business Development Adviser (2 years fixed term).
This role will be expected to serve as WANG’S in house business development expert and will bring strong private sector type thinking to all our programmatic priorities and internal processes.
A master’s degree in the social sciences, development studies, business administration or project management plus a minimum seven years’ post -graduation experience preferably in a consulting, marketing, social entrepreneurship or business development type role.

Position: EU Project Accountant (2 years fixed term)
This role will ensure WaterAid and partners compliance with EU financing and procurement process, financial reporting, expense eligibility and other donor regulations as it affects the project.
A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting plus a minimum of three years’ post NYSC work experience in Accounting / Finance related role in a non-profit – organization delivering work with European Union funding.
