PROJECT COORDINATOR, PROJECT OFFICER, MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER AT DIAMOND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES

VACANCIES: PROJECT COORDINATOR, PROJECT OFFICER,

MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER

Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) invites applications for the following positions in order to implement the Stabilization and Reconciliation in the Lake Chad Region (STaR) Project in the North East. The Project will contribute to the stabilization and reconciliation of areas most affected by the on-going violence and negative Impact of climate change in the region. STaR will target areas that are accessible and secure, and where the environment is most favorable for recovery and resilience.

The following qualifications and levels of experience are desired:

POSITION: PROJECT COORDINATOR (To be based in Yola, Adamawa State)

QUALIFICATION:

  • A Masters degree in Crop production, Agronomy, Extension or related field.
  • At least 5 years of direct involvement in community development work.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Power point.
  • Evidence of practically managing similar project or have held such position in the past.
  • Familiarity with the culture and terrain and farming methods of the North East.

POSITION: PROJECT OFFICER (To be based in Biu, Borno State)

QUALIFICATION:

  • A degree in Crop Production, Agronomy or related field
  • At least 3 years of direct involvement in community development work
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
  • Ability to speak Hausa and/or Kanuri will be an added advantage

POSITION: MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER-1 position (To be based in Adamawa State)

QUALIFICATION:

  • Degree in a Agric. Economics, Extension, Statistics or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of direct involvement in providing monitoring and evaluation support for related programs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and hove a high proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.
  • Ability to speak Hausa and/or Kanuri will be an added advantage.
