VACANCIES: TECHNICIANS, LAB SCIENTISTS, CLERKS, CLEANERS, MESSENGERS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment to academic/non-academic positions in various Departments at the RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY, PORT HARCOURT.
All persons already employed In the Public Service of Local, State and Federal Government need not to apply.
The positions required are:
(a) ND/OND/ANTC or its equivalent plus at least a minimum of 6 years work experience with evidence of Microsoft Certification or its equivalent and computer proficiency.
POSITION: LAB SCIENTISTS
(a) B.SC (Professional degree) registerable with Professional bodyies (e.g. NISLT, IMLT) with evidence of Microsoft Certification or its equivalent and computer proficiency.
(a) ND/OND in the relevant field plus at least 2 years relevant post-qualification experience with an evidence of Microsoft certification
(b) 3 Subjects at a sitting at the GCE A/L plus at least 4 years relevant experience with an evidence of Microsoft certification.
(a) Able bodied not more than 40 years of age and subject to issuance of medical certificate of fitness and authenticated by the Health Services department of the University.
(a) WASC/GCE or NECO attempted.
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Successful candidates will be required to assume duty as soon as possible and will be on probation for the first two (2) years. Thereafter, they will retire at the approved age of 65 years and 70 years for those on the Professorial cadre. Other conditions are similar to those obtaining in other institutions of higher learning in Nigeria.
