Our Client is a newly built 97-KEY LUXURY HOTEL in the city of Osogbo, Osun State. The hotel is scheduled to welcome its first guest in December, 2019.

We are looking for qualified indigenous professionals with the requisite skills to ensure commencement of operations with the highest possible international standards.

POSITION: MIGHT AUDITOR MIDDLE SENIOR

KEY JOB OBJECTIVES:

To check front office accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarize and compile information for the hotel’s financial records. Prepare a summary of cash, cheque and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel’s financial performance for the day. To post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day (If any.) by the front office cashier and or reservation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES’ SUMMARY

Manage and provide efficient, prompt, trouble-free, courteous and quality accounting service on night shifts/ Laws, Regulations & Policies / Reporting / Employee Relations & Management Support /Health & Safety

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • 90% Employee performance evaluation
  • Smooth running of operations that exhibit proper planning, time management and efficient resource allocation;
  • Overall input to departmental performance
  • Thoroughness in accountability for night service reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Cost Accounting, Finance, Economics or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience and at least 5 years in a relevant role within the Hospitality sector.
  • Usage of hospitality ERR or revenue management software and an accounting software will be an asset.

POSITION: MARKETING MANAGER SENIOR

KEY JOB OBJECTIVES:

The sale A Marketing Manager is required to maximize total revenue in accordance with the sales business plan for the hotel. The Job incumbent should be active, proactive, and achieve results. Able to work on his/her own and take responsibility for all tasks at hand. All work is carried out in line with the overall hotel guidelines and service concepts.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES’ SUMMARY

Market identification and Evaluation Lead Generation and Conversion Corporate Clients’ Targeting & Management / Employee Relations & Management/ Strategic Partnerships Tour Operators/ Travel Agents /Distribution Management Centres

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Measurable Increase In the general revenue of the hotel,
  • increase in the overall guest base.
  • Brand visibility and promotion.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree in Marketing, Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience and at least 5 years in a management role within the hospitality sector.
  • Usage of hospitality PMS, ERP or revenue management software and an accounting software will be an asset.

POSITION: FINANCIAL CONTROLLER SENIOR

KEY JOB OBJECTIVES:

The Financial Controller is responsible for all hotel accounting and financial controls under the supervision of the General Manager, and with a functional reporting line to the CEO, within the policies and procedures and outlined in Corporate policies and procedures, and according to local requirements and regulations, in addition, the Job incumbent controls the overall hotel costs by managing the procurement function. The function should be proactive, analyzing, and recommending alternative action in every respect, and operate in line with Hotel and corporate policies and guidelines, and the hotel’s approved business plan.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES’ SUMMARY

Accounting & Financial Control/Purchasing, Receiving and Storeroom Oversight / Laws Regulations & Policies

Reporting/ Team Employee Relations & Management Support/ Health & Safety

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Measurable effective revenue and expense planning, controls and standard fixed reporting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related relevant field.
  • An MBA will be an advantage.
  • The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant, and hospitality revenue management certificates will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience and at least 5 years in a relevant management role within the hospitality sector.
  • Usage of accounting software is a must.
  • Usage of Hospitality PMS, ERP or revenue management and/or an inventory management software will be an asset.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • All candidates must be confident, with strong communications and reporting skills, good organisational skills, Interpersonal relations and must be pleasant, amiable and hospitable.
  • All candidates are expected to exhibit strong leadership and supervisory qualities.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Use of hospitality PMS/ERP will be an advantage (Oracle Opera Micros, ASI, ProLogic, etc.).
  • Brand Promotion: All Candidates are expected to promote the hotel’s brand and see themselves as a Welcoming Committee of One, as such are responsible for customer service.
