Our Client is a newly built 97-key Luxury Hotel in the city of Osogbo, Osun State. The hotel is scheduled to welcome its first guest in December, 2019.

We are looking for qualified indigenous professionals with the requisite skills to ensure commencement of operations with the highest possible international standards.

POSITION: STORE MANAGER MIDDLE – SENIOR

KEY JOB OBJECTIVES:

The storekeeper in the hotel has the main responsibility to receive, store and issue supplies and equipment for the day to day hotel operations, work closely with purchasing department, ensure proper organisation of all storage areas, keeping storage and receiving areas clean and tidy at all times, verifies that all supplies and goods received are listed on requisitions/orders and the delivery challans and invoices are checked and filed in the appropriate folders. Maintains par stock, inventory and stock records every month and compile records of expenditures/consumptions etc.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES’ SUMMARY

Receive Store and Issue Supplies Inventory & Stock Records / Internal Customer Service /Communication Channels/ Financial Functions/Laws, Regulations & Policies/ Reporting/ Employee Relation & Management/ Support/Health & Safety

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • 90% Employee performance evaluation
  • Effective management and monitoring of overall stock
  • Reduction in wastage by affective materials’ management
  • Attitude and work relationship

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree from Accounting, Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience and at least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Usage of hospitality FRP of revenue management software or MMS or IMS and an accounting software will be an asset.

POSITION: PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE MIDDLE

KEY JOB OBJECTIVES:

To identify vendors and ensure appropriate registrations; subsequently, work with suppliers to negotiate contracts for the purchase of required goods and keep accurate records of transaction trends. To assist the Finance and Operational departments in the monitoring, reporting and controlling of cost of sales in the hotel for the purpose of appropriate pricing. Also, to provide adequate input with respect to cost values required for audit and control, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting etc. Also, work with the Store Manager to ensure timely notification of stock levels for procurement orders.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES’ SUMMARY

Measurable effective cost/expense planning and management, controls and reporting/Ensures availability of all hotel supplies per time/Manage and provide efficient, prompt, trouble-free, courteous and quality procurement service/ Vendor Management/ Laws, Regulations & Policies /Reporting Employee Relations & Management Support/ Health & Safety

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • 90% Employee performance evaluation.
  • Availability of all hotel supplies per time.
  • Effective monitoring; of re­order levels.
  • Attitude and work relationship with colleagues and vendors.
  • Ability to manage affective credit lines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A university degree from any field.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience and at least 3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong data management skills.
  • Usage of hospitality E.RR or revenue management software or MMS or IMS and an accounting software will be an asset.

POSITION: MAINTENANCE MANAGER MIDDLE

KEY JOB OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for providing the guests with a secure, comfortable environment by maintaining the hotel’s assets through on-going preventive maintenance programs and ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating in accordance with optimal standards and hotel guest satisfaction policies and procedures, and according to local requirements and regulations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES’ SUMMARY

Responsible for Providing a Secure and Comfortable Environment /Managing the Engineering Function/ Laws, Regulations & Policies/ Reporting / Employee Relations & Management Support / Health & Safety

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Smooth running of operations that exhibit proper planning, time management and transparency with respect to cost.
  • Measurable reduced downtime on all equipment and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A national diploma or University degree in any engineering field.

Previous, maintenance working experience within the hospitality sector will be an added advantage.

Strong understanding and working experience with HVAC, ELV, generating system, water treatment plants, fire hydrants, general mechanical and electrical networks and systems.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • All candidates must be confident, with strong communications and reporting skills, good organisational skills, Interpersonal relations and must be pleasant, amiable and hospitable.
  • All candidates are expected to exhibit strong leadership and supervisory qualities.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Use of hospitality PMS/ERP will be an advantage (Oracle Opera Micros, ASI, ProLogic, etc.).
