INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions in the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria.

POSITION:     CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER – CONTISS14

The person to be appointed must have a proven record of considerable ability, competence, industry and integrity needed to organize a robust and result oriented, campus security system. He/she must be capable of planning, organizing and implementing a coordinated and proactive security service. Above all, he/she must possess good human relations and the best attribute of a leader and effective manager. He/she will be responsible to the Vice Chancellor.

QUALIFICATION;

Candidates should possess a good Honours Degree from a recognized University coupled with a Certificate in Security Training. They should have at least 14 (fourteen) years cognate experience in Security Services. Candidate must have attained the rank of not less than Superintendent of Police or its equivalent in any of the Armed Forces. Experience in a comparable institution will be of advantage.

POSITION:     PRINCIPAL (SENIOR SCHOOL)-CONTISS 14

Applicants for the post of Principal must be a Vice Principal in a Secondary School and must have, in the past, exhibited considerable degree of competency on matters relating to the position of a Principal.

QUALIFICATION;

A B.Ed Degree from a recognized University with Master’s degree in Education plus 18 years’ teaching experience. Ph.D and computer literacy is an added advantage.

SALARY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the post of Principal of all Nigerian federal Universities Secondary Schools and as may be determined from time-to-time by the Government/ Governing Council as appropriate.

(C)       HEADMASTER/HEADMISTRESS – CONTISS 14

Applicants for the post of Headmaster/Headmistress must be a Deputy Headmaster/Headmistress and must have in the past, exhibited considerable degree of competency on matters relating to the position of a Headmaster/ Headmistress.

Qualification:

A B.Ed Degree from a recognized University plus 18 years’ teaching experience. Master’s degree/Ph.D and computer literacy are an added advantage.

SALARY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the post of Headmaster/Headmistress of all Nigerian Federal Universities Staff School and as may be determined from time-to-time by the Government/ Governing Council as appropriate.

Salary;

CONTISS 14 (N1, 870,907.96 – N2.386, 772.00 per annum
