MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

The Governor of the State of Osun, His Excellency, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has approved the council the immediate recruitment of teachers into Public Basic and post-basic schools in the state. Consequent upon this, the State Ministry of Education hereby invites applications from suitable qualified candidate to fill existing vacancies in the disciplines outline below.

(1)    English Language

(2)    Mathematics

(3)    Science, Humanities and Social Sciences Applicants Requirements

Applicants Requirements

(i)   WASSCE/NECO-SSCE/NABTEB/Teachers Certificate Grade II (not more than two (2)sitting)

(ii)   Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

(iii)  Degree in Education with relevant teaching subject or Basic Degree with PGDE, HND+PGDE

(iv)   Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate will be an added advantage

(v)    Any additional Relevant Qualifications

Group B.

In addition to the above, prospective candidate must also possess following.

(i)    A recent passport photograph (Compulsory)

(ii)   Functional Mobile phone line (Compulsory)

(iii)  A functional e-mail address (Compulsory)

(iv)   Local Government of Origin Attestation (Compulsory)

( v)   Birth Certificate or a Court Declaration of Age document

(vi)    Attestation from 2 referees, one of which must be from the higher institution attended

(vii)   A good identification (Compulsory) such as one of the:

( e)    National ID card

( f)      Voter’s Card

( g)     International Passport or

( h)     National Drivers Licence

Candidates are to register online through osun.csm.ng after a login pin has been purchased from the Ministry of Education, State Secretariat, Osogbo.

Registration of candidate closes four weeks from the date of this advertisement/publication.
