Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNI) is an indigenous non-governmental organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting a broad range of global health interventions, education and economic initiatives in Nigeria. AHN is an allied organization to Family Health International (FHI360) with co-existing and mutually supportive interest in advancing the collective goals of the people and communities served. AHNi currently has its headquarter in Abuja, Nigeria.
The Reading and Numeracy Activity (RANA) is DFID-funded through UNICEF on early primary grades reading pilot project implemented in partnership with FHI 360 in collaboration with the Niger, Kebbi & Katsina State governments RANA aims to improve literacy and numeracy for girls and boys in primary grades 1-3 in the supported states. It will assist approximately 100 formal Schools and integrated Qur’anic Schools (IQS) in each of the states. We are seeking qualified candidate for the following positions:

Program Assistant under the supervision of the Program Officer will provide assistance in the coordination of activities of the AHNI/Nigeria field offices. H/She will support program planning design, review and the monitoring of the program implementation and field offices.

Senior Program Officer As a member of the Program Management Team, supports the Zonal Team Lead in providing oversight, coordination, monitoring and reporting of all project activities in the assigned States, develop and oversee execution of system for initiation, implementation, monitoring amendment and close out of all AHNi GF IAS sub agreements, ensure that AHNi/GF delivers on all its promises to donors and other stakeholders (achieve set largets, deliver quality services).
