POSITION: DIRECTOR OF ADVERTISING: REF: DA-1

LOCATION: LAGOS (PAN NIGERIA COVERAGE)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the advertising department driving a high-performance, customer-centric, and results-based culture.
  • Develop weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual sales quotas around which advertising strategies and solutions are built within the advertising department and ensure that advertising goals are met within the timelines.
  • Map out advertising strategies that support sales plans, attract and retain new consumers, and encourage the spending rate of the business current consumers.
  • Communicate quotas and commissions that will ensure the success of advertising efforts and initiatives.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales departments in order to ensure effective sales prospecting and alignment of marketing approaches to minimize conflicts of interest and to enable unified front in reaching for overall business goals.
  • Work with the human resources department to source and retain quality personnel in order to guarantee smooth execution of advertising initiatives.
  • Gather ideas and feedback from the field leading to the formulation of more effective advertisement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as may be directed by the company management.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 15 years working experience with 7 to 10 years of experience working in a high ranking PR position (for example, as Senior PR Manager). A proven and successful record in the management of PR teams.
  • Must have a proven and successful track record in garnering positive media coverage for a business of product in a complex business setting/market.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills that will ensure clear conveyance of Through the evaluation of market-trends and prospective analysis of the business’s products and revenue performance.
  • Perform other duties as may be directed by the company management.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 15 years working experience with 7 to 10years in senior management position, preferably working as a Head of Advertising Sales, Head of Advertising Operations, Head of Advertising Technology or as a Director of Advertising in a flagship/reputable multinational company.
  • The Ideal candidate will have vast experience working with modern advertising tools, platforms, and technologies.
  • The candidate will also have proven and successful experience managing an advertising team from the conceptualization of a campaign to the successful achievement of its objectives.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, communication of instructions and directives must be crystal clear down the line in order to ensure efficient performance of the advertising teams and hence the entire advertising department.
  • Strategic thinking, high creativity and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (essentially Ms Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Candidate must be between 38 and 55 years of age.
  • Education Qualification:
  • A bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Sales, Marketing, or any other relevant field.
  • Postgraduate /Master’s Degree and additional qualifications in marketing, sales and allied fields from reputable institutions will be an added advantage.

LOCATION: LAGOS (PAN NIGERIA COVERAGE)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the relations team, driving the development, implementation, and integration of strategic communications plans that advance the business’s brand identity in the market. Broaden the awareness of these strategies and increase visibility of PR programs and priorities within the organization and to key stakeholders.
  • In conjunction with the marketing team, create marketing strategies in order to enable the cultivation and enhancement of strong and strategic relationship with the target audiences, external partners, and key media outlets.
  • Research and proactively identify emerging or potential issues and challenges that may impact on the business or product, further partnering with management teams throughout the business for the purpose of formulation and execution of strategies, solutions and opportunities pertinent to those issues.
  • Oversee the creation of the business’s content; for example; newsletters, blogs, Social media influencers, annual reports, and other marketing collateral materials, overseeing of online web content and communication as well as Social media influencers.
  • Act as the business/product’s spokesperson and lead point person in conventional media interactions, such as positive portrayal of the business at all times.
  • Exercise judgment in prioritizing media opportunities. Making necessary coordinating with appropriate persons in organizing and preparing presentations, speeches, talking points, and other external media relations materials.
  • Cultivate and manage press relationships that ensure the coverage of the business’s/product’s programs, events, public announcements, among other projects.
  • Provide marketing counsel to publication unit in order to ensure positive impact of each publication on the business.
  • Work with the human resources department to source and retain quality personnel in order to guarantee smooth execution of advertising initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as may be directed by the company management

RQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 15 years working experience with 7 to 10 years of experience working in a high ranking PR position (for example, as a senior PR Manager), a proven and successful record in the management of PR teams.

  • Superior analytical and creative skills that will enable him to develop enterprise-level PR and communication strategies.
  • Candidates must be between 38 and 55 years of age.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, Journalism, International Relations, Public Relations, Communications, English Language or in any other relevant filed.
  • Postgraduate/Master’s Degree and additional qualifications in Public Relations and allied fields from reputable institutions will be an added advantage
