VACANCIES: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT, SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidate to fill-in the following vacant position that exists in a highly reputable global organization:

POSITION: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely generation and rendition of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and other reports required by management
  • Report on financial performance, analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, competitor monitoring and make recommendations for improvements
  • Oversee the reconciliation of the various general ledger accounts, ensuring in-depth investigation of errors and their prompt resolution.
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring adequate control over financial administration, expenditure and asset management across all departments.
  • Responsible for transforming Financial Statement to required format for statutory audit and regulatory bodies requirement.
  • Identifying risks inherent in the business and advise on how best to mitigate same and ensure full compliance to requisite rules and regulations.

QUALIFICATION/PRE-REQUISITE:

  • Minimum of 2nd Class Upper (BSC/HND) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a recognized Institution.
  • Must have relevant professional qualification (ICAN/ACCA) with at least Seven years relevant accounting and financial experience.
  • Good knowledge of accounting package required.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports statements, and projections.
  • Understanding and up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial reporting including IFRSs) is an advantage

POSITION: SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER

  • Ensure timely reconciliation of financial reporting records on inventory, payables, receivables asset, banks, loan and other infrequent transactions.
  • Assist in monitoring and ensuring adequate controls over financial administration, expenditures, and asset management across department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transaction including complete documentation and processing of transaction.
  • Responsible for posting of inventory and cost of sales ledgers including generating production variances and analysis of changes observed during each reporting date.
  • Generate reports consistent with statutory audit requirement in the required format for internal use

QUALLFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITE:

  • Minimum of 2nd Class Lower/HND in Finance, Accounting or related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Musthave relevant professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA).
  • Least four year’s relevant accounting and financial experience.
  • Good knowledge of accounting package required.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Understanding and up-to-date knowledge or regulatory requirements for financial reporting (including IFRSs) is an advantage.
