Our Group is a conglomerate with interests in Oil & Gas and Telecoms. The Group has been very successful over a sustained period of time and is embarking on another exciting phase of growth and corporate expansion. In order to support this new phase of growth, the Group seeks to hire outstanding, creative and seasoned top professionals with wide experience in corporate finance, who have operated and achieved success at very senior levels – team players who have operated at ED level.

We seek individuals who have deep and wide networks and can add value to our Group in a manner that contributes significantly to the continuing success of our various businesses. The positions will report to the Board.

POSITION: SENIOR LEVEL FINANCE PERSONNEL’S (OIL & GAS AND TELECOMS)

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS:

  • Minimum of 20 years’ experience in investment banking or Corporate finance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other finance related courses.
  • Post graduate qualifications in Business Administration and other relevant field would be an advantage.
  • Must be above 45 years of age.
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, etc.).
  • Language skills will be an advantage (French etc. )
  • Must have multicultural exposure with the ability to mix and interact at different levels of the society.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to travel widely at very short notice
  • Team player
  • Must be flexible, hardworking and adaptable
  • Minimum work experience at General Manager level.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing strategic Insight and knowledge to shape the financial direction of the Group
  • Strategic financial planning for the Group’s key operating businesses
  • Structuring financing deals in a manner that ensures optimal financial close
  • Coordinate fund raising transactions to ensure timely and successful financial close
  • Lead negotiations with prospective financiers
