AT THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF POLICE STUDIES

National institute of Police Studies is the apex strategic leadership training institution for police officers from the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and above in Nigeria. The institute also trains equivalent senior officers of other security agencies and senior government officials. It is an affiliate of the Nigeria Ponce Academy Wudil Kano, located temporality at No. 10 Mobora – Efab Estate Roas, Life Camp Auja.

The Institute invites application from qualified candidates to fill the post of Sessional Syndicate Directors for the Eight (8) Weeks Strategic Leadership and Command Course (SLCC commencing on 21“ September, 2020.

Job Description

As a syndicate director to SLCC 2020 participants, your primary responsibility will be to:

  • Supervise and coordinate academic activities for a syndicate of Ten (10) participants each.
  • Lead sessions, conduct tutorials and feedback
  • Supervise and assess the progress of each syndicate member while ascertaining that every opportunity for development is utilized.
  • Guide and debrief sessions led by guest speakers and lecturers.
  • Guide participants to produce a personal development plan

Qualifications and Experience

Interested applicants should possess a Ph.D or at least a Post-Graduate Degree in Humanities, Law, Cybercrime/Security Studies, Applied Social Research, Leadership Studies, Criminal Justice Studies, Strategic Studies, Financial Management Studies, Business Administration, Policy and Security Studies, and other relevant field of studies.
