VACANCIES: ACCOUNT MANAGERS, SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGERS-CARRIER BUSINESS

We are a leading Telecommunication Company operating with business activities in Nigeria and other African Countries. In its quest to further strengthen its operations and consolidate its market leadership position, the company desires to attract highly competent and experienced candidates who have vast knowledge of international carriers and termination of international traffic for both voice and data.

POSITION: ACCOUNT MANAGERS (LAGOS & PHC)  REF: AMS

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a first degree in Commercial, Business, Economics, or other related fields
  • MBA or relevant Masters qualification from a globally reputable institution
  • 5-10 years with relevant experience in enterprise sales / business development for a Telecoms/ IT Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage existing ISP or Wholesale clients by building strong relationships through world class customer service.
  • Grow and retain clients through strategic structured conversations to identify connectivity, security, cloud and other needs they may have.
  • Aggressively generate and pursue sales to develop new sources of revenue from wholesale/ISP customers to meet or exceed given targets.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales funnel.
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle including post-sales processes to ensure customers’ requirements are met
  • Provide continuous competitive market feedback to management
  • Develop and maintain ownership of assigned accounts and ensure they are always in good health.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses as required to close sales
  • Work with Sales Support Engineers to resolve all escalated client technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10 years with relevant experience in enterprise sales / business development for a Telecoms/ IT Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for meeting assigned revenue and gross margin and collection targets.
  • Work actively with Account Managers to develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income stream.
  • Responsible for ensuring that account managers harness the full potentials of all connected partners.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; rate negotiation.
  • Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all profitable sales opportunities arc captured and explored.
  • Manage and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and all required documentations.
